Chef Nelly on Tour…

Last week, Etihad Airways flew chef Nelly to Abu Dhabi to compete in Taste the World, a special event in the Taste of Abu Dhabi programme.

Nelly was among 10 world-class chefs competing to take home the prize – Dish of the World. Using innovative techniques and a creative use of ingredients, Nelly served up his Taste of Sydney stand-out – BBQ tandoori kingfish with smoked yoghurt, cucumber raita and a lobster soil.

Joining Robinson in the culinary lineup was Scott Bridger (Perth’s Bib & Tucker and May Street Larder), Pascal Aussignac (Club Gascon, London), Andre Gerrits (Amsterdammertje, Amsterdam), Michael Hunter (Antler Restaurant, Toronto), Andrea Provenzani (Il Liberty, Milan), Vitaly Tikhonov (G.Graf, Moscow), Siu Hin Chi (Duddell’s, Hong Kong), Sylvestre Wahid (Restaurant Sylvestre, Paris), and Francesco Apreda (Imàgo, Rome).
